Bill caught the sailing bug in 2000 when he volunteered on the Historic Skipjack Martha Lewis based in Havre de Grace Md. Then in 2005 Bill went to Bay Sail and signed up for his Basic Keelboat Class (101). Then followed up in 2006 with the 103/104 Combination Class. After being a member of SailTime for 2 years he bought his first sailboat, a Bruce Roberts Design 33′ Cutter Rig Sloop. Bill has sailed to Florida 3 times now using the ICW and many ocean passages. Bill got his Capt License and his ASA Instructor Certification in 2012. He has been instructing at Bay Sail for the past 9 years. Bill lives in Conowingo MD. Married 44 years with 8 children.
